Topic: What area of my life—personal, marital, or familial—prevents me from following Jesus completely? Is my repentance real? (29 June 2025 - Only By Grace Reflections)

First Reading: Acts 3:1-10
Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 19:2-3, 4-5
Second Reading: Galatians 1:11-20
Alleluia: John 21:17
Gospel: John 21:15-19

No matter how many times we’ve failed or denied Christ, Jesus meets us in our brokenness. Not to condemn but to heal, forgive, and recommission us. If our repentance is real, it will change us.

Just like St. Peter, who wept bitterly after his denial but later became the rock on which Christ built His Church; just like St. Augustine, who spent years in sin but allowed God’s mercy to transform his heart and become one of the Church’s greatest saints— We too are called to real, life-changing repentance.

True repentance is not just regret or guilt. It is a turning back to Jesus, a surrender of our pride, and a decision to love Him more than ever before.
