Gospel: Luke 21: 29-33
As the world progresses and things of the world and laws of men steadily lose their relevance and become obsolete, only the Words of our Lord Jesus Christ remain relevant and unchanged over the centuries. In today's Gospel taken from Luke 19:29-33, Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away". Our Lord reminds us that as people and things come and go, His teachings will forever be relevant, and His promises will always be fulfilled.
This is the 1678th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
