TOPIC: WHAT SIMPLE ACT OF LOVE CAN I PRACTICE IN MY LIFE?
First Reading: Hebrews 10: 32-39
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 37: 3-4, 5-6, 23-24, 39-40
Alleluia: Matthew 11: 25
Gospel: Mark 4: 26-34
Brothers and sisters, what simple act of love can we practice in faith? We don’t need to have a life-defining dream, like Don Bosco's to begin performing small acts of love and kindness. We can start in our workplace, neighborhood, parish, community, and even within our own families.
Through prayer and discernment, let us ask the Lord to guide us toward opportunities to spread His love. Just as the mustard seed grows, may our small acts of love become significant — not necessarily on the same scale as Don Bosco, but enough to be life-giving to even one of our brethren.
As it is written in Galatians 5:6, “For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.”
This is the 1741st installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Harris Jacildo, Sector Leader of CFC Metro Manila South B, as he brings us today's reflection.
All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
