Topic: Do I trust God even when I can’t see what He is doing?
Reading I: Isaiah 65:17-21

Jesus did heal the royal official’s son, and when the man got home and saw his son was well, his whole family believed in Jesus. It’s interesting—some people only started believing in Jesus after they saw miracles. There are two big takeaways from this story. First, the fact that Jesus performed miracles at all says a lot about who He is. He didn’t have to do them—He could have just expected people to believe in Him without any signs. But He did them out of pure love and mercy, knowing that some people needed that extra help to believe. It wasn’t about proving Himself; it was about His generosity.
But here’s the thing—faith isn’t supposed to rely on miracles. Imagine if Jesus had never performed a single one. How many people would have still believed in Him? Probably not many, but the ones who did would have had a faith that ran deep. Think about the royal official—what if Jesus hadn’t healed his son? Would he have still chosen to believe? That’s the kind of faith we should strive for—the kind that holds on even when we don’t see immediate answers.
