TOPIC: DO WE SEEK TO BE HUMBLE AND SIMPLE OF HEART LIKE JESUS CHRIST?

First Reading: Job 42: 1-3, 5-6, 12-17
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 119: 66, 71, 75, 91, 125, 130
Alleluia: Matthew 11: 25
Gospel: Luke 10: 17-24

Do we know the joy of the Lord? The scriptures tell us that we can only draw strength from the love and joy of the Lord (Nehemiah 8:10). God always assures us of victory in Jesus Christ, regardless of circumstances, in good times and in bad, in successes and losses. Jesus Christ became like us to conquer the powers of darkness and sin. And like Saint Faustina, we, as disciples of Christ, have been given spiritual authority to overcome evil with good.

This is the 1623rd installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Solphie Confiado, Country Coordinator for CFC Egypt, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
