Gospel: Matthew 14: 1-12

Today’s gospel invites us to rise and be not afraid because God is with us!

It is the same invitation that God revealed to Emperor Constantine when he saw a cross of light in the sky, along with the Greek words “In this sign conquer.”

The gospel reveals Jesus’ divinity and the fulfillment of the prophecies and the Law.

Jesus transfiguration reveals his divine nature and that Jesus is the son of God.

The voice of God proclaims Jesus as His beloved Son, urging the disciples to listen to Him.

This is the 1204th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our brother Israel Silud as he brings us today's reflection.]

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS.
