In today's Gospel, Jesus invites us to love like He does.
Jesus asks us to respect the sanctity of marriage and approach God's kingdom with the innocence, trust, and openness of a child. Jesus reminds us of God's original plan for marriage, where a man and woman are united as one, and no one should break that bond. He emphasizes the sacredness of marriage and explains to His disciples that divorce and remarriage are adulterous.
May Jesus' unconditional love for each of us and the lifelong love story of Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter inspire us to love with that same dedication and faithfulness.
This is the 1624th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Israel Silud, Regional Coordinator for East Asia, as he brings us today's reflection.
All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
