TOPIC: WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A NEIGHBOR?

First Reading: Galatians 1: 6-12
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 111: 1b-2, 7-8, 9 and 10c
Alleluia: John 13: 34
Gospel: Luke 10: 25-37

In our prayer time today, let us reflect on the question
"What does it mean to be a neighbor?" rather than trying to identify who is or who is not our neighbor. As you go on your day, try doing random acts of kindness to anybody without regards to their political or spiritual beliefs, social status, color of their skin, or age. Let us be inspired by the example of the good Samaritan who did not discriminate when it comes to extending help to others. May our reflection give us a better appreciation of the pain and suffering that Jesus has gone through to save not a select few, but anyone or everyone who believes in Him.

This is the 1625th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Eric Villanueva, Mission Head for CFC Europe and the Americas, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS]
