Gospel: Mark 1: 7-11
Today’s gospel reading in Mark 1:7-11 is about the time when John the Baptist said that “One mightier than I is coming after me. I am not worthy to stoop and loosen the thongs of his sandals. I have baptized you with water; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” This passage captures the significant moment of Jesus' baptism by John the Baptist. It marks the beginning of Jesus' public ministry and the revelation of his divine identity. Several key elements in the passage warrant reflection, but for today, we will focus on HUMILITY.
