Jesus’ promise that the Holy Spirit would teach us everything is actually a very big promise! Do we rely on it? Do we turn to the Holy Spirit when we do not know anymore what to do? Have you ever experienced the guidance of the Holy Spirit in a moment of difficulty? As we pray today, let us recall those moments and thank God for this great gift. St. John Paul II recites a daily prayer to the Holy Spirit, which goes…
“O Holy Spirit, I ask you the gift of wisdom, to understand you and better understand your divine perfection. I ask you the gift of intelligence; don't go deeper, by the spirit of secrets with holy faith. Give me the gift of knowledge, to know how to guide my life according to the principles of faith.” (source: Novenaprayer.com)
This is the 1121st installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
[NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our brother Eric Villanueva, CFC Europe & Africa Missions Head, as he brings us today's reflection.
All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
