First Reading: Acts 4: 32-37

Alleluia: John 3: 14-15
Gospel: John 3: 7b-15
As Christians, we are taught to think about the needs of our brethren, our neighbor. This is supposed to be second nature to us, for this is the spirit that we receive from our Lord Jesus Christ. We cannot continue following Christ without emulating His example of healing and giving. He even gave up his life to save us from eternal condemnation in hell because of our sins.
Saint Teresa of Calcutta said that “God gives us things to share, God doesn’t give us things to hold.”. As Christians, our mission is to recognize that we are blessed in so many ways, and to acknowledge that all our blessings come from God. Our natural response must be to share our blessings with others, especially those who are in need.
This is the 1443rd installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
[NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our brother Lawrence Quintero, a member of the CFC International Council, as he brings us today's reflection.
All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
