TOPIC: HOW CAN I RESIST TEMPTATION AND HELP MY FAMILY DO THE SAME?

First Reading: Deuteronomy 26: 4-10
Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 91: 1-2, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15
Second Reading: Romans 10: 8-13
Verse Before the Gospel: Matthew 4: 4b
Gospel: Luke 4: 1-13

To overcome temptation, we too must stay rooted in God’s word, trust Him in all things, and reject whatever leads us away from Him. As a family, we strengthen our faith by praying together, reflecting on Scripture, and showing love in action.

This Lenten season, let us refocus our hearts on God and support each other in living out His will. Like St. Ignatius of Loyola, may we pray the Examen daily, drawing closer to God through reflection and gratitude.

This is the 1779th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.

[NOTE: Let us listen to our brother Israel Silud, Regional Coordinator of East Asia, as he brings us today's reflection.

All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives. This video is also available on Couples for Christ’s Facebook page. In You Tube, just type ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS
