Like the Jews during Jesus’ time, as well as Sts. Paul and Augustine, we continue to experience moments of unbelief, despite having been baptized in our Catholic faith. This unbelief may arise from various sources, including fear, doubt, or a lack of trust in the Lord.
Overcoming unbelief, even momentary, is a process that takes time and effort. As we pass through the roads of life, may the words of our Lord to us not be as convicting as “Why do you persecute Me?”, but instead may it be as uplifting as “Come, continue to dwell in the house of Your Lord."
