A Gathering for Fun and Learning

A total of 362 children had an awesome and fun-filled time at the "Mga Kwento nina Bib at Lia: Children’s Fellowship" on January 21, 2023 held at the 3rd Floor Worship Hall of the Philippine Bible Society. With bright smiles and curious glances, the children gathered to enjoy learning
about God and the Bible.

The children sat and excitedly watched Mga Kwento nina Bib at Lia. The different Bible stories taught them the importance of knowing the Bible even at an early age. They also learned that God loves them, regardless of their circumstances.

While the children enjoyed the digital Bible lessons, their parents assembled at the PBS New Ministry Center to attend the parenting seminar entitled “Raising Up Godly Children in these Crucial Times: The Biblical Way.” The parents learned Biblical values and principles to help them bring up their children to be strong morally and spiritually despite life’s challenges.

As a surprise gift, the children received shoeboxes filled with toys, hygiene items, and school supplies from Samaritan’s Purse.

“Mga Kwento nina Bib at Lia: Children’s Fellowship” and “Raising Up Godly Children in these Crucial Times: The Biblical Way” were held in partnership with the Social Services Development Department of Quezon City and Samaritan’s Purse, a global Christian organization that share God’s love with victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine.

Through these events, PBS hopes to strengthen the Filipino family and encourage the transformation of family values and way of life.

The children's fellowship and parenting seminar are part of the 2023 National Bible Month celebration.
