What does he mean? Like salt—which is used as flavoring, as preservative, even as a cure—Jesus’ followers must season our communities by bearing witness to Him through our speech and actions. As his followers, our good deeds must reflect his light so that people may glorify God.
If we say we are followers of Christ, we must live up to our identity as salt of the earth and light of the world.
