Ecclesiastes 1:1-6 NIV
[1] The words of the Teacher, son of David, king in Jerusalem: [2] “Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless.” [3] What do people gain from all their labors at which they toil under the sun? [4] Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever. [5] The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises. [6] The wind blows south, and then turns north. Around and around it goes, blowing in circles.

“Thank you God, for declaring that I am important. You have created me, chosen me, saved me, sent the Holy Spirit to live in me, surrounded me with people who care about me, and guided me. And you have prepared a place for me when I leave this life. I am significant to you, and only that matters. Amen.”
