Today's Devotion:

365 Daily Devotions: Seminary Edition

💁🏻 Concept: Glorification
Glorification is the final step in our salvation journey. When Jesus returns, He will raise the bodies of all believers who have died and transform those who are still alive. We will receive glorified bodies like Christ’s—no more pain, aging, sin, or death. This is our great hope as Christians: full restoration of our being for eternity.

📖 Bible Readings: Philippians 3:20-21
(1 Corinthians 15:51-53; Romans 8:30; 1 John 3:2; 2 Peter 1:4)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. Glorification begins at the resurrection.
2. Glorification is the climax of salvation.
3. Glorification is being like Christ in glory.

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Aim to be Christ like in speech, action, and love.
2. Believe that sanctification is destined for glory.
3. Commit to spend quality time with God daily.

🎙Discussion:
Suppose you are facing Jesus right now, aware of your future glorification. What would you tell Him?

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Lord God, thank You for the hope of glorification. In this broken world filled with weakness, sickness, and sorrow, I look forward to the day Christ returns and makes all things new. Thank You that I will one day have a perfect, resurrected body—just like that of Christ. Strengthen me today to endure, to persevere, and to keep my eyes on eternity. Help me to live for what lasts forever, and not be discouraged by temporary trials. Fill my heart with joy in the promise of future glory. I praise You, my Redeemer and King. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
