The Gospel this Sunday reminds us to appreciate the role of Christ as a gate, and as the shepherd in our lives. Christ offers himself up as a gate to be a path to the Father, but also as a gate to be a protection from sin. As a shepherd, He gives us guidance and structure. Let us strive to be just like Christ in our own spheres of influence.
