The Lord's disciples does not present his own credentials, as they are totally aware of the uselessness of such. Instead, the one, who hears obeys and is sent by the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. It is the same world that looks at the loving sacrifice of Christ as folly. But for those called to be disciples, it is the ultimate wisdom of God, bypassing human intellectual pride.
