🌿 Reflection on Exodus 2:5–6
Exodus 2:5–6 reminds us that God can work through unexpected people and unexpected situations.

Moses was just a helpless baby, placed in a basket among the reeds because his mother was trying to protect him. She could not see what would happen next. Yet God was already preparing a way. Pharaoh’s daughter found Moses, saw that he was a Hebrew child, and “had compassion on him.”
This teaches us that when we are afraid, worried, or facing something we cannot control, we should not lose hope. Just as God protected Moses through the compassion of Pharaoh’s daughter, God can also place people in our lives to help, guide, and protect us.
Sometimes we may feel like Moses—small, helpless, or uncertain about what tomorrow will bring. But our size does not determine the size of God’s plan for us.
Moses was found in a basket, but he was not forgotten by God.
He was rescued from danger, because God had a purpose for his life.
🌟 Message for us:
When we cannot see the way forward, trust God. He may already be preparing the person, opportunity, or blessing that will help us.
“She saw the child, and she had compassion on him.” — Exodus 2:6
