Bashed for celebrating Halloween! (But is it really wrong?)

We celebrated Halloween for the first time as a fam and things were going well until some people started rebuking us, calling me names, and cursing me online 😅good thing I am used to it already and also, thay this conversation is already set in motion. Apparently, so many have experienced judgment and oppression for simply doing things they like to do but don’t quite fit what some people call as “acceptable.” As a result, some have left church, some have let the faith completely. And we are beyond glad that some have reached out to us to identify and find comfort in the validation of the unwiiting starting of comversations my simple post was able to do. It’s about time. Cause joining Halloween programs, or trick or treating, is that even wrong? Should you never do such things? Well… it is in this vlog that we answer. ✨
