The message of this short story is: Repent and believe in the gospel. To repent means to make a 180 degree turn, away from your sin and towards God.

The gospel means ‘Good News’. Lahat tayo ay makasalanan, Ako at ikaw. The good news is that Jesus Christ died on the cross para sa ating mga makasalanan para tayo ay makatanggap ng kapatawaran and malinis sa ating mga kasalanan. All we have to do is (1) repent of our sins, that means to turn away from it, and (2) put our trust in Jesus Christ so that by faith and through the grace of God we are saved.
