Our life is like a ship in a vast ocean. Without a compass, we will get lost. Some people think that life is short so they say, “Carpe diem,” or “seize the day,” or they think, “Que será, será, whatever will happen is bound to happen.” After which, one mistake after another happens. Ayun na, hindi na nila alam kung saan sila pupunta. A life that has no direction or a person with no moral compass exhibits self-destructive behaviors.
But how do we find direction in life? The Word of God reveals the living God, Jesus Christ. If we want to experience a meaningful and abundant life, it should be built on love that only Jesus Christ can give. That is how we find purpose. Direction comes from knowing the Author of life.
