Devotional Message:
(Romans 5:19)
"For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous."

In this verse, Paul is teaching us a deep truth about how one person's actions can affect many others. He talks about two men: Adam and Jesus. Adam was the first man created by God, and he disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. Because of Adam's disobedience, sin entered the world, and with it, death and separation from God. This affected all of humanity because we all inherit this sin.

But Paul doesn't stop there. He also speaks about Jesus, who is often called the "second Adam." Unlike the first Adam, Jesus was perfectly obedient to God. He lived a sinless life and followed God's will, even to the point of dying on the cross. Through His obedience, Jesus made it possible for all who believe in Him to be made righteous, or right with God.

This verse shows us that while sin and death came into the world through one man, Adam, righteousness and life came into the world through another man, Jesus. It's a story of how God’s grace is greater than sin.

Application:

So, how does this truth apply to our daily lives?

1. Understanding Our Condition: First, we need to recognize that on our own, we are like Adam. We all make mistakes, and we all fall short of what God wants for us. We might think our sins aren't a big deal, but this verse reminds us that even small acts of disobedience can have big consequences. But thankfully, that’s not the end of the story.

2. Embracing God’s Grace: Jesus' obedience to God opens the door for us to receive God’s grace. Grace means getting something good that we don’t deserve. Even though we deserve punishment for our sins, Jesus took that punishment for us. Because of Him, we can be forgiven and
