Devotional Message:
(Romans 11:1-2)
"I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew."

In Romans 11:1-2, Paul begins by addressing a question that might have been troubling some of his readers: "Has God rejected His people?" He quickly answers, "By no means!" Paul then uses himself as proof. He is an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, and from the tribe of Benjamin. If God had rejected His people, Paul wouldn't have been saved or called as an apostle. This passage reassures us of God's unwavering faithfulness to His people, Israel, despite their mistakes and rejection of the Messiah. God did not abandon them because He had a plan for their future.

God’s commitment to His people, even when they fail or turn away, reflects His nature. He is a God who does not give up on those He loves. This shows us that God's promises are unbreakable. Even when we feel unworthy or far from God, His love and purpose for us remain steadfast.

Application:

This truth is incredibly relevant for us today. Just as God remained faithful to Israel, He remains faithful to us. There might be times when we feel distant from God, either because of our own mistakes or because life has taken us down a difficult path. During these moments, it can be easy to think that God has given up on us. But this passage reminds us that God does not abandon His people. He knows us, loves us, and has a purpose for us.

We can take comfort in knowing that our relationship with God is not based on our performance but on His unchanging character. When we mess up, we can turn back to Him, knowing that He is always ready to forgive and restore us. We are not rejected; we are loved. God’s faithfulness to Israel shows us that He keeps His promises, and He will
