(Romans 13:1)
"Everyone should do what their government says because all governments come from God. And all the leaders in power have been chosen by God."

In Romans 13, the Apostle Paul talks about how we should behave when it comes to our government. He says that all governments are part of God's plan, even if we don't always agree with them. This part of the Bible teaches us to be good citizens by following the rules and laws of our country.

1. God's Choice: Paul starts by saying that God picks the leaders and governments. This means that our government, whether we like it or not, is a part of God's plan to keep order and peace in our society.

2. Following the Rules: Sometimes, it's hard to obey the government, especially if we don't like some of the rules. But as Christians, we're supposed to listen to our leaders unless they tell us to do something that goes against God's teachings.

3. Love and Doing Right: This chapter reminds us that loving others and doing what's right is like following God's rules. When we obey our country's laws and are good citizens, we're showing love to our neighbors. Our actions should show that we're trying to be like Jesus in everything we do.
