Devotional Message:
PEOPLE OF REFUGE – Daily Devotional on Ruth 3:9

“Spread the corner of your garment over me, since you are a guardian-redeemer of our family.” – Ruth 3:9

In today’s devotional, we reflect on finding refuge in God during seasons of fear, uncertainty, and loneliness. Through the powerful and deeply symbolic request Ruth made to Boaz, we learn about God’s heart to protect, redeem, and cover us with His grace.

📖 In our short story, The Storm Shelter, we meet Leah—soaked, scared, and alone in a powerful storm—until she finds refuge in an underground shelter filled with strangers who welcome her in. Just like Leah, we all long for safety when life feels overwhelming.

This message invites you to think deeply about what it means to seek God as our refuge and how we can become people who offer refuge to others. Whether you’re in a place of personal need or looking for ways to serve the broken around you, this devotional will guide your heart to both receive and give grace.

🌿 In this episode, you’ll discover:

What Ruth’s bold request teaches us about prayer and humility

How God responds to those who ask for His covering

The role of Boaz as a redeemer and how it points to Jesus

Practical ways to become a person of refuge for others

How your home, your words, and your presence can be a safe place for the hurting

If you’re feeling exposed, forgotten, or overwhelmed by life’s storms, this devotional will remind you that God sees you, covers you, and calls you His own. He is not distant—He is your Redeemer, your Shelter, your Safe Place.

🙏 This devotional is perfect for your quiet time with God, whether early in the morning or in the stillness of night. It's designed to encourage reflection, inspire spiritual growth, and lead you into prayer that’s honest and healing.
