Devotional Message:
(2 Corinthians 11:14)
"And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light."

This verse reminds us of the importance of discernment in our daily lives.

Imagine a beautiful, bright light shining in the darkness. Naturally, we are drawn to it, seeking warmth and guidance. However, not all lights lead us to the right path. Some lights are deceptive, leading us away from the truth and into harm's way. This is what Paul warns us about in this verse. Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light, making it seem like he offers something good and pure, but his intentions are to lead us astray.

In our lives, we encounter many situations and people that seem good on the surface. They might offer us success, happiness, or a sense of belonging. But we must be careful and ask ourselves if these things align with God's truth and teachings. Just because something looks good does not mean it is good for us.

Here are a few practical steps to help us discern true light from false light:

1. Stay Rooted in the Word of God: Regularly read the Bible and reflect on its teachings. The more we know God's word, the better we can recognize when something is not in line with it.

2. Pray for Wisdom and Discernment: Ask God to give you wisdom to see things clearly and discern what is right and wrong. James 1:5 tells us that if we lack wisdom, we should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault.

3. Seek Godly Counsel: Talk to trusted friends, family members, or church leaders who are strong in their faith. They can offer guidance and help you see things from a godly perspective.

4. Examine the Fruit: Jesus said that we would recognize false prophets by their fruits (Matthew 7:16). Look at the results of the actions or teachings you are considering. Do they lead to love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
