Devotional Message:
(Romans 2:6-7)
"God 'will repay each person according to what they have done.' To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life."

This verse teaches us that God sees everything we do. Every act of kindness, every good deed, and every effort we make to help others does not go unnoticed. God promises to reward us based on our actions.

Now, you might wonder, what does it mean to seek glory, honor, and immortality? It's about aiming to live a life that pleases God. It's about making choices that reflect our faith and commitment to His teachings. When we help someone in need, speak kindly to others, or choose honesty over deceit, we are seeking the values that matter to God.

Persistence is another key word here. Doing good isn't always easy. There are times when we might feel tired or discouraged. But this verse encourages us to keep going. It's about making good choices day after day, even when it's hard. God sees our perseverance, and He values it.

Think of a farmer who plants seeds. The farmer doesn't see the results right away. It takes time for the plants to grow. But the farmer trusts the process, knowing that with patience and care, there will be a harvest. In the same way, our good deeds may not always bring immediate rewards, but God promises that there is a harvest coming—a harvest of eternal life.

So, let's be motivated to continue doing good. Let's help others, show kindness, and live in a way that brings glory to God. Remember, God sees your efforts, and He promises a wonderful reward for those who remain faithful.

Prayer:
Father God, help us to persist in doing good and seek Your glory, honor, and immortality. Thank You for Your promise of eternal life. Amen.
