FROM LOST TO FOUND: Welcoming Jesus In
READ: Revelation 3:7-22
(Revelation 3:20)
“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends."
Jesus stands at the door of our hearts, patiently awaiting our invitation to come in. He doesn't force His way in, but instead, He gently knocks and calls out to us. He longs for an intimate relationship with each one of us.
Just imagine for a moment the powerful image of Jesus standing at the door, knocking. It is a reminder that no matter what we are going through, no matter how broken or discouraged we may feel, Jesus is always near, ready to come in and offer us comfort, guidance, and unconditional love.
Maybe you have been feeling lonely, lost, or burdened by the struggles of life. Perhaps you have been searching for something more, something that can fill the void within your heart. Take heart because Jesus is there, knocking. He is reaching out to you, desiring to be the answer to your deepest longings.
All He asks is that we open the door of our hearts and let Him in. He wants to dine with us, to have a close and personal relationship with us. He wants to be involved in every aspect of our lives, guiding us, comforting us, and transforming us from the inside out.
Let us not be hesitant or afraid to respond to His invitation. It is in His presence that we find true peace, hope, and fulfillment. When we open the door of our hearts to Jesus, He brings with Him boundless love, joy, and purpose.
Even if you feel unworthy or undeserving of His presence, remember that Jesus offers grace and forgiveness to all who come to Him. He willingly extends His hand and invites every person,
