(Revelation 13:10)
"Anyone who is destined for prison will be taken to prison. Anyone destined to die by the sword will die by the sword."

This means that God’s holy people must endure persecution patiently and remain faithful. This verse reminds us that there may be times of difficulty and suffering in our lives. But even in those moments, we can find encouragement and strength in God's promises.

Here are two practical applications we can take from this verse:

1. Trust in God's sovereignty: No matter what challenges or trials we face, we can trust that God is in control. He knows our circumstances and can use them for our good and His glory. Instead of dwelling on our fears or uncertainties, we can find peace in knowing that God has a plan and purpose for everything that happens.

2. Find hope in eternal perspective: This verse reminds us that our ultimate hope is not in this world but in the eternal life that awaits us. While we may face temporary hardships or even persecution, we can draw strength from the assurance that our true citizenship is in heaven. By focusing on the bigger picture and fixing our eyes on Jesus, we can find encouragement to persevere through difficulties.
