Devotional Message:
(Revelation 18:4)
"Then I heard another voice from heaven say: 'Come out of her, my people,' so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues."

Devotional Message:
The "her" in this verse refers to Babylon, a symbol of a sinful and corrupt system that opposes God. God is calling His children to separate themselves from the ways of the world that are filled with greed, immorality, and rebellion against Him.

Observation:
This verse is a reminder of God's deep care and concern for His people. He does not want us to suffer the consequences of living in sin. Babylon represents a lifestyle that prioritizes wealth, pleasure, and power above obedience to God. When we look around us today, we can see similar patterns in the world. People often chase after material possessions, fame, or success, thinking these things will bring happiness. But God warns that these pursuits can lead us away from Him and ultimately bring destruction.

God's call to "come out" is not just about physically separating ourselves but also about guarding our hearts and minds. It means rejecting the sinful influences that try to draw us away from living according to His Word. It’s a call to holiness, to live as people who reflect God’s character in a world that desperately needs His light.

Application:
What does this mean for us today? First, it means examining our lives and asking, “Are there areas where I am influenced by the world’s values more than God’s?” For example, do we prioritize our relationship with God, or are we too busy chasing things like money, recognition, or comfort? Do we spend time filling our minds with God’s truth, or are we consumed by what the world offers through entertainment, social media, or unhealthy relationships?

Coming out of "Babylon" means making intentional choices that honor God. It
