Devotional Message:
(Revelation 22:12)
"Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done."

Observation:
Revelation 22:12 is a powerful reminder of Jesus' promise to return and hold everyone accountable for their lives. When Jesus says, "I am coming soon," it shows the certainty of His return, even though we don’t know the exact time. This verse also highlights that He brings rewards with Him—rewards not based on wealth, fame, or accomplishments as the world defines them, but on what we’ve done according to His will. Jesus is not looking for perfect people, but faithful ones. Every act of kindness, obedience, and love done in His name is noticed and will be rewarded.

This verse also serves as a warning. It reminds us that our choices matter. If we’ve been living selfishly or ignoring God, it’s time to turn back to Him. Jesus is coming as both a Savior for those who believe and follow Him and as a judge for those who reject Him. It’s a wake-up call for all of us to examine our hearts and live in a way that pleases Him.

Application:
How can we live in a way that earns God’s reward? First, we must prioritize what matters most to God. This means loving Him with all our heart and loving others as ourselves. Acts of love—helping someone in need, being patient with others, forgiving those who hurt us—are investments in heaven.

Second, we need to stay faithful even when no one else seems to care. It’s easy to give up when life gets hard or when it feels like doing good isn’t making a difference. But God sees everything we do. That small act of obedience, even when no one else notices, is valuable to Him.

Lastly, let’s remember that our ultimate reward is Jesus Himself. Heaven is not just about golden streets or eternal peace; it’s about being with the One who loves
