Daily Bread Devotional:
Devotional Topic: "REJOICING LOVE"

Verse of the Day: Isaiah 62:5

Devotional Message:
(Isaiah 62:5)
"As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you."

Observation:
Have you ever seen a wedding? Maybe you’ve attended one, or watched one on television. There’s something special about it. When the bride walks down the aisle, all eyes are on her. She is dressed beautifully, and there’s a glow on her face. But if you look closely, the happiest person in the room is often the groom. He smiles from ear to ear, his eyes filled with joy. He loves her so much and can’t wait to spend his life with her.

This is the kind of joy God has when He looks at you. Sometimes, we may feel like we are not special or important. We might think that we are not good enough, or that we make too many mistakes. But the truth is, God loves you deeply. He doesn’t just love you in a quiet or distant way—He rejoices over you, like a groom celebrating his bride.

Every time you wake up in the morning, God is glad to see you. When you pray, He listens with joy. When you try your best, even if you fail sometimes, He is proud of you. He sees you as precious, beautiful, and loved. His love is not based on how perfect you are. His love is based on who He is—a loving and faithful God.

Application:
So, what does this mean for our daily life?

First, it means you are never alone. Sometimes we feel lonely or forgotten, but God is always with us. When you feel like no one cares, remember that God is looking at you with love, like a groom looking at his bride.

Second, it means you don’t need to be afraid of failing. We all make mistakes. We sometimes say the wrong words or do the wrong things. But God’s love doesn’t stop when we fail. He is patient. He helps us get up and try again.

Third, it means we can love others better. When we know how much God loves us, it becomes easier to show love to our family, friends, and even those who may hurt us. We can forgive because we know we are forgiven. We can be kind because we know God is kind to us.

Lastly, it means we should celebrate life. God rejoices over us—so we should also rejoice. Thank God every day for His love. Smile more. Sing a song. Spend time with those you love. Be grateful, even for small blessings like food on the table, a place to sleep, and the people who care for you.

Let God’s rejoicing love fill your heart, and let it shine in your life. When others see your joy, they may ask, “Why are you so happy?” And you can tell them, “Because God loves me, and He rejoices over me every day.”

Prayer:
Father God, thank You for loving us with a rejoicing heart. Help us to feel Your love every day and share it with others. Teach us to live with joy, knowing You are always with us. Amen.
