Devotional Message:
(Isaiah 43:1)
"‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you."

Observation:
The verse starts with a powerful reminder: God is the one who created us. He formed us with purpose, care, and love. It’s not just about existence—it’s about meaning. We are not accidents or random products of the universe. God is telling Israel, and by extension, us, that He knows us personally. He calls us by name. Imagine that—the Creator of the universe knows your name and claims you as His own.

This verse also addresses fear. Life often gives us many reasons to be afraid—challenges, failures, uncertainties, and even our past mistakes. Yet, God tells us, "Do not fear." Why? Because He has redeemed us. To redeem means to buy back, to rescue, to set free. In this context, God reminds us that He has paid the ultimate price for our freedom and salvation. He is the God who steps into our brokenness, picks up the pieces of our lives, and makes us whole again.

When God says, "You are mine," it’s a declaration of belonging. It’s like a parent lovingly looking at their child and saying, "You are my child, and nothing will change that."
