(Matthew 9:28)
They went right into the house where he was staying, and Jesus asked them, “Do you believe I can make you see?” “Yes, Lord,” they told him, “we do.”

CHAPTER SUMMARY:
In Matthew 9:18-38, several encounters and teachings are described. A ruler approaches Jesus, seeking help for his daughter who had just died. Jesus accompanies him, and upon arriving, brings the girl back to life. As Jesus continues His journey, two blind men approach Him, asking for healing. Jesus restores their sight because of their faith. Later, a man who was unable to speak due to being demon-possessed is brought forward. Jesus casts out the demon, allowing the man to speak again. Witnessing these miracles, people praise God. Jesus shows compassion for the crowds, recognizing their need for guidance and proclaiming the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. He encourages His disciples to pray for more workers to spread the message of the kingdom and help those in need.

DEVOTIONAL REFLECTION:
Today, I want to share with you a message of encouragement inspired by the powerful verse found in Matthew 9:28. It's my heartfelt desire that this message will uplift your spirits and strengthen your trust in the goodness of our loving Heavenly Father.

In this verse, we find two blind men approaching Jesus, earnestly seeking healing for their sight. Filled with faith, they simply say to Him, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" And without hesitation, they confidently respond, "Yes, Lord."

These words hold a profound lesson for us all. They remind us that when we come before our Lord with unwavering faith, believing in His limitless power and ability, miracles can take place in our lives.
