Devotional Message:
(2 Corinthians 9:7)
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give...for God loves a cheerful giver."

Observation
There’s a story about a little girl who loved her pink coat. It was her favorite piece of clothing, and she wore it almost every day. One winter, she noticed a new girl in school who didn’t have a warm jacket. The girl’s hands were red from the cold, and her shoulders were hunched from the chilly wind. The little girl thought about her pink coat, how warm and cozy it was. At first, she hesitated. She loved that coat. What if she gave it away and regretted it? But then, she remembered something her mother told her: "When you give, think of how much joy it can bring to someone else."

So, she decided to give her pink coat to the new girl. The moment she handed it over, the new girl’s face lit up with a smile. The joy and gratitude in her eyes warmed the little girl’s heart even more than the coat ever could. She realized that her small act of giving had a big impact.

Application
Like the little girl with the pink coat, we often hold on tightly to things we love—whether it’s our possessions, time, or resources. Sometimes, we give reluctantly, afraid of losing what’s precious to us. But God doesn’t want us to give out of guilt or obligation. Instead, He wants us to give cheerfully and with a willing heart.

Think about how God has blessed you. Maybe it’s with talents, finances, or simply the ability to listen and encourage others. Have you thought about how you can share those blessings? It doesn’t have to be something big. It could be as simple as helping a neighbor carry groceries, sharing a meal with someone in need, or even just offering a kind word to brighten someone’s day.

When we give cheerfully, it reflects God’s love. Our giving becomes an act of worship, showing that we trust Him to provide for us. And
