"For many are invited, but few are chosen."

In Matthew 21:33-22:14, Jesus shares two parables to teach important lessons. The first parable shows how the religious leaders rejected the prophets and Jesus himself. The second parable teaches that God invites everyone to join His kingdom, but we must respond in faith. Both parables warn against rejecting God's messengers and missing out on His blessings.

I want to share an encouraging devotional message with you today, focusing on a powerful verse from the Bible, Matthew 22:14. In this verse, Jesus says: "Many are called, but few are chosen."

These words may seem challenging at first, but when we delve deeper, we find a message that brings hope and purpose to our lives. Let's reflect on it together.

First, Jesus declares that many are called. This means that God, in His boundless love and grace, extends an invitation to everyone. No matter who we are, where we come from, or what we have done, God calls each one of us to a relationship with Him. This call is a testament to His great love and desire for us to experience His mercy and salvation.

However, Jesus also mentions that only a few are chosen. This doesn't mean that God is selective or partial towards certain individuals. Rather, it reminds us that we have a vital role to play in responding to His invitation. While God invites everyone, only those who willingly accept and live according to His ways become the chosen ones.

So, how can we be among the chosen few? What can we do to accept God's call and follow His path?
