(Matthew 6:6)
"But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

Matthew 6:1-18 teaches us about the importance of sincerity in our acts of righteousness. Jesus reminds us not to seek attention or praise from others when we do good deeds. Instead, we should give to the needy, pray, and fast with pure intentions, seeking God's approval rather than human applause. Jesus encourages us to cultivate a personal and genuine relationship with God, understanding that He sees and rewards our heartfelt actions. By focusing on our inner motivations and seeking God's approval above all, we can grow in righteousness and deepen our connection with Him.

Today, I want to encourage each one of you with a powerful message from Matthew 6:6. It says, "But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you."

Prayer is a beautiful and essential way for us to communicate with our Heavenly Father. In this verse, Jesus reminds us of the importance of finding a quiet place to pray. He encourages us to enter our rooms, shut the door, and spend time alone with God. In these moments, we can pour out our hearts, share our burdens, seek guidance, and find peace in His presence.

In our busy and often chaotic lives, it is easy to get caught up in the noise and distractions around us. But Jesus reminds us to create intentional moments of silence, where we can block out the outside world and focus solely on our conversation with God. When we do this, we open up a sacred space for Him to work in our lives.
