"On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts."

This verse is a powerful reminder of our true calling and purpose. It speaks to the heart of why we do what we do as followers of Christ. Let's break it down and see how it applies to our everyday lives.

1. Approved by God
First, Paul says we are "approved by God." Think about that for a moment. God has looked at each of us and said, "You are fit for this mission." He sees our hearts, our intentions, and our potential. This approval isn't based on our perfection but on His grace and love. Knowing that God has approved us should fill us with confidence. We don't have to strive for human approval or worry about meeting others' expectations. God’s approval is the ultimate validation.

2. Entrusted with the Gospel
