Devotional Message:
(1 Corinthians 8:1)
"We know that 'We all possess knowledge.' But knowledge puffs up while love builds up."

Paul wrote this to the Corinthians, a group of people who prided themselves on their knowledge. They knew a lot about God, faith, and spiritual matters. But Paul reminds them, and us, that knowledge alone isn't enough. Knowledge can make us proud, thinking we're better than others. This pride can distance us from those we are supposed to help and love.

Imagine you know everything about plants. You know how to water them, what sunlight they need, and what soil is best. But if you boast about your knowledge and make others feel small, will they listen to you? Will they trust you with their plants? Probably not. Your knowledge might be impressive, but without kindness and love, it's not very helpful.

Now, think about a different approach. You still have all that plant knowledge, but you share it gently and kindly. You encourage others, help them when they struggle, and celebrate their successes. You build them up. People will appreciate your help and learn from you. Your love makes your knowledge truly valuable.

In our daily lives, it's easy to focus on what we know. We can feel good about being smart or well-informed. But Paul tells us that love is more important. Love builds relationships, strengthens communities, and helps us grow together.

Let's apply this to our lives. When you're tempted to show off your knowledge, pause and think about how you can use it to help others instead. If a friend is struggling with a problem you understand, offer your help with kindness. If someone makes a mistake, gently guide them instead of criticizing them.

Remember, love is more powerful than knowledge. Knowledge can make us feel important, but love makes us truly valuable to others. Let's strive to build each other up with
