"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud."

1. Love is Patient

Being patient means waiting without getting angry or upset. In our daily lives, we face situations that test our patience. It might be waiting in a long line, dealing with a difficult person, or facing a tough situation at work or school. True love means being patient with others, even when it’s hard. It means understanding that everyone is going through their own struggles and giving them the time and grace they need.

2. Love is Kind

Kindness is about being friendly, generous, and considerate. It’s about doing good things for others, not because we want something in return, but because we care about them. Small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s day. It can be as simple as a smile, a kind word, or helping someone in need. When we show kindness, we reflect God’s love to those around us.

3. Love Does Not Envy

Envy means feeling unhappy or resentful because someone else has something we want. It could be their success, their possessions, or even their relationships. True love means being happy for others when they succeed or receive good things. It means celebrating their blessings and knowing that God has good plans for each of us. We don’t need to compare ourselves to others because we are all unique and valuable in God’s eyes.
