Devotional Message:
(1 Corinthians 15:42-44)
"So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.

Let’s break this down and see what it means for us.

First, the verse talks about our bodies being "sown" like seeds. When a seed is planted, it doesn't look like much. It's small, often dry, and not very impressive. But when it grows, it becomes something beautiful and full of life. Similarly, our current bodies are like those seeds. They are perishable, which means they age, get sick, and eventually die. But the promise here is that they will be raised imperishable. This means that in the resurrection, our bodies will never die or decay again.

Next, the verse says our bodies are sown in dishonor and raised in glory. This might sound a bit harsh, but think about the limitations and imperfections we all face. We have weaknesses, we make mistakes, and sometimes we feel ashamed of our actions. But in the resurrection, these bodies will be raised in glory. All the imperfections and dishonor will be replaced with honor and beauty. We will be made perfect.

The verse also mentions that our bodies are sown in weakness and raised in power. We all know what it's like to feel weak, whether it's physical weakness, emotional struggles, or spiritual battles. But the promise here is that our resurrected bodies will be powerful. We will no longer be held back by our weaknesses. Instead, we will have strength and vitality beyond anything we can imagine now.

Finally, it says our bodies are sown as natural bodies and raised as spiritual bodies. Our current bodies are natural; they are tied to the physical world and its limitations. But
