Devotional Message:
(2 Corinthians 4:6)
"For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Christ."

Think about the first part of this verse: "For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness.'" This reminds us of the very beginning, when God created the world. He spoke, and light appeared, pushing away the darkness. Just as He brought light into the physical world, He also brings light into our hearts.

Before we knew God, our lives were like being in darkness. We might have felt lost, unsure of our purpose, or struggling with problems we couldn't solve on our own. But when we accept God's love and truth, it's like a light turning on inside us. Suddenly, things become clearer. We start to see our lives and our purpose in a new way.

The second part of the verse says, "made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Christ." Here, we're reminded that Jesus is the perfect reflection of God's glory. When we look at Jesus—His life, His teachings, His love—we see what God is like. Jesus came to show us how much God loves us and to guide us back to Him.

So, what does this mean for our daily lives?

1. Seek the Light: Every day, make a conscious effort to seek God's light. This could mean spending time reading the Bible, praying, or simply reflecting on His presence in your life. Let His light fill you up and guide your actions.

2. Shine the Light: Just as God's light has transformed you, you can be a light to others. Show kindness, offer help, and share the love of Christ with those around you. Your actions can help others see God's glory.

3. Stay Close to Jesus: Keep your focus on Jesus. He is our example and guide. By learning about Him and following His
