Devotional Message:
(Luke 9:62)
"Jesus replied, 'No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.'"

In this verse, Jesus uses this imagery to teach us about the importance of commitment and focus in our spiritual lives. Just as a farmer needs to concentrate on plowing to ensure a fruitful harvest, we need to stay focused on following Jesus to live a fruitful life.

1. Stay Committed:

When we decide to follow Jesus, it's a commitment that requires our full attention. It's like putting our hand to the plow. We can't afford to keep looking back at our old ways or the distractions of the past. Instead, we need to keep our eyes on Jesus and the path He has set before us. This means making decisions that align with His teachings and trusting Him with our future.

2. Avoid Distractions:

Distractions can come in many forms—worries about the past, fears about the future, or even the daily busyness that pulls us away from our relationship with God. To be effective in our service to the kingdom, we must learn to identify these distractions and turn our focus back to Jesus. Prayer, reading the Bible, and fellowship with other believers can help us stay centered.

3. Embrace the Journey:

Following Jesus is a lifelong journey. There will be challenges and moments of doubt, but we must remember that Jesus walks with us every step of the way. Just as the farmer trusts that the hard work of plowing will eventually lead to a bountiful harvest, we can trust that our efforts to follow Jesus will lead to a fulfilling and purposeful life.

4. Reflect and Realign:

Take time to reflect on your spiritual journey. Are there areas where you've been looking back or getting distracted? Ask God to help you realign your focus. Remember, it's never too late to recommit and refocus on Him. God's grace is always available to help us get back
