"For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted."
Jesus teaches us that those who seek to elevate themselves will eventually be brought low, while those who humble themselves will be lifted up.
In our world, we often see people striving for status, recognition, and power. It’s easy to get caught up in this mindset, believing that our worth is tied to our achievements or the praise we receive from others. But Jesus offers us a different path, one that leads to true fulfillment and lasting peace.
Humility is not about thinking less of ourselves; it's about thinking of ourselves less. It's about recognizing our value as children of God while understanding that everyone around us is equally valuable. When we approach life with humility, we open our hearts to serving others, showing kindness, and practicing gratitude.
Let’s consider some practical ways to embrace humility in our everyday lives:
1. Listen More, Speak Less: When we take the time to truly listen to others, we show them that we value their thoughts and experiences. This act of humility strengthens our relationships and helps us learn from others.
