Devotional Message:
(Luke 17:20-21)
"Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, 'The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, "Here it is," or "There it is," because the kingdom of God is in your midst.'"

Let's break this down together.

1. The Kingdom is Not About Appearances:
The Pharisees were looking for visible signs of God's kingdom. They expected a grand event that everyone could see. But Jesus tells them that God's kingdom doesn't come with fanfare or visible signs. It’s not about outward appearances or spectacular events.

This teaches us an important lesson: we shouldn't always look for God in big, dramatic moments. God is present in our everyday lives, in the small, quiet moments that we often overlook.

2. The Kingdom is Within Us:
Jesus says something even more surprising: "the kingdom of God is in your midst." This can also be translated as "the kingdom of God is within you." What does this mean?

It means that God's kingdom starts in our hearts. It's about allowing God's love, peace, and righteousness to rule in our lives. When we love others, forgive those who hurt us, and live according to God’s teachings, we are experiencing and spreading God's kingdom.

3. Living Out the Kingdom:
How can we live out this truth practically?

- Start with Prayer: Invite God to rule in your heart. Ask Him to help you see His presence in your daily life.
- Show Love and Kindness: Look for opportunities to show love and kindness to those around you. A smile, a helping hand, or a kind word can make a big difference.
- Practice Forgiveness: Let go of grudges and forgive those who have wronged you. This brings peace to your heart and reflects God's kingdom.
- Live with Integrity: Make choices that honor God, even when no one is watching. Integrity in small things
