Devotional Message:
(Luke 17:15-19)
"And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole."

This story is about ten men who had leprosy, a terrible skin disease. They cried out to Jesus, asking Him to have mercy on them. Jesus healed all ten of them. But only one of them, a Samaritan, came back to thank Jesus and glorify God.

Imagine being one of those men. You’ve been suffering from a painful disease, separated from your family and friends because you are considered unclean. Suddenly, Jesus heals you. How amazing would that be?

But out of the ten men, only one returned to give thanks. This man, a Samaritan, fell at Jesus' feet and thanked Him. Jesus noticed this and asked, "Were there not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?"

Here are a few practical lessons we can learn from this story:

1. Always Remember to Give Thanks: Like the one leper who returned, we should always remember to thank God for His blessings. It's easy to take things for granted, especially when life is going well. But every good thing comes from God, and He deserves our thanks.

2. Gratitude Brings Us Closer to God: When the Samaritan returned to thank Jesus, he had a personal encounter with Him. Gratitude deepens our relationship with God. When we take time to thank Him, we become more aware of His presence and goodness in our lives.

3. Faith and Gratitude are Linked: Jesus told the thankful leper, "Your faith has made you whole." Faith and gratitude go hand in hand. When we have faith, we recognize God's work in our
