Devotional Message:
Hebrews 2: 18; 4:16 (NLT)
Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested. – So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Life has stress. It begins when we are born and continues up unto the day God takes us home. God knew this so He created us to be resilient, returning to peace and joy from painful emotions. How is this done? By turning to Jesus. He knows our stress. We can bring it to Him. Jesus Himself went through trials, suffering and testing is “able to help us when we are being tested!” This is why the author suggests that we come boldly to God with our deepest needs. Today you can be resilient. We can bring our stress to Him and “receive the mercy and grace to help us when we need it the most.”

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your grace, mercy and love. Help me to come boldly to Your throne and receive the help I need when I need it the most. Amen.
