🕊 Observation: Recognizing the Seasons of Life
Ecclesiastes 3:1 is a verse many of us have heard, but not always deeply understood. It says:
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”
This simple truth holds a profound message: Life isn’t random. Life flows in seasons. And every season has a divine purpose.
Think about the natural seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
Each one serves a role. Spring is for planting. Summer is for growth. Autumn is for harvest. Winter is for rest and reset. None of them are useless. None are permanent. And life works the same way.
We go through spiritual seasons:
Seasons of waiting, where doors seem closed and answers seem far away.
Seasons of breakthrough, where everything seems to move quickly and blessings pour in.
Seasons of pruning, where God removes things—even good things—to make room for better.
Seasons of silence, when God seems quiet, but He’s still near.
Seasons of learning, where the lessons are hard but the growth is deep.
We often fight against the seasons we don’t like. We pray, “God, take this away!” when we should also be praying, “God, help me grow through this.” Because each season—good or hard—has something to teach us, and God never wastes a season.
